Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Arctic Lab platform, including our website, marketplace, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated by Arctic Lab (“Arctic Lab”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. About Arctic Lab

Arctic Lab is an online marketplace that connects vetted experts (“Instructors” or “Mentors”) with learners and clients (“Users”) through three types of offerings: cohort-based courses, one-on-one mentoring, and live events (collectively, “Products”). Arctic Lab provides the technology and facilitation; the educational and advisory services are delivered by the Instructors and Mentors who list Products on the Platform.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date.

3. Products, Bookings and Content

• Product descriptions, schedules, and prices are set by the relevant Instructor or Mentor and may change before purchase.
• A booking or enrolment is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
• Instructors and Mentors are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality and delivery of their Products.

4. Payments, Fees and Commission

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; by purchasing, you agree to their terms in addition to these Terms.

Arctic Lab charges Instructors and Mentors a commission of 10% on each Product transaction facilitated through the Platform. Payment provider and transaction fees may apply separately. The remaining balance is remitted to the Instructor or Mentor in accordance with our payout schedule.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the type of Product and the cancellation window communicated at the time of purchase. Where required by EU consumer law, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal, which may not apply once a live event has taken place or once digital content has been accessed with your prior consent. Refund requests should be sent to contact@arcticlab.io.

6. AI-Assisted Features

The Platform offers AI-assisted features such as homework help, missed-class summaries, and 24/7 Q&A. These features are provided to support learning and may produce inaccurate or incomplete output. They do not replace professional advice and should not be relied upon as such. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before relying on it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• attempt to circumvent Arctic Lab to transact off-platform in order to avoid commission;
• upload malicious code or interfere with the operation of the Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features and branding are owned by Arctic Lab and protected by intellectual property laws. Course and event materials remain the property of the respective Instructor or Mentor. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access purchased Products for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arctic Lab is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any Product. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you breach these Terms or use the Platform in a way that may cause harm to Arctic Lab, other Users, or third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email. Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
